1. Purpose
This Vendor Agreement Policy outlines the terms for vendors listing services or products on AfriConnect Exchange, a product of Africonnect Exchange CIC.
It should be read alongside our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy.
2. Vendor eligibility
- Vendors must be 18 years of age or older.
- Vendors must provide accurate business and contact information.
- Vendors must agree to comply with community guidelines and applicable UK consumer laws.
3. Listings and conduct
- Listings must be truthful, respectful, and culturally appropriate.
- Vendors are responsible for fulfilling orders and responding to customer enquiries.
- Misleading, illegal, or harmful content may be removed.
4. Fees and payments
AfriConnect Exchange may charge a transaction or listing fee where this is clearly disclosed. Payments are processed through third party providers such as Stripe.
- Vendors are responsible for any applicable taxes linked to their trading activity.
5. Liability and disputes
Africonnect Exchange CIC is not responsible for vendor performance in every transaction, but vendors are expected to resolve issues directly with customers where possible and to cooperate with the platform's dispute process.
Repeated complaints or serious breaches may result in account suspension or removal.
6. Data and privacy
Vendor data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Vendors must also respect customer privacy and data rights.
7. Termination
Africonnect Exchange CIC reserves the right to suspend or terminate vendor accounts that violate this agreement or platform policies.
